You are missing one detail – I wasn’t the one who made the call… And we were calling from Sheremetyevo airport, checking if they would meet us. But apparently, you decided to continue playing dumb – and now it’s four against one: you say there were no phone calls – but there are four of us from Yekaterinburg, and besides, if desired, you can request a history of phone calls from the operator. 3. Since all the "facts" boil down to this one point, think for yourself what the organizer should do. IMHO, many still don't understand what the function of an organizer is – wiping noses and comforting people, meeting grown men at train stations, waking up poker players in the morning, or - organizing affordable accommodation (for most), arranging a good relationship with the best club in town, making internet broadcasts possible, and so on.

Regarding a friendly attitude... Oh my God – when admins occupy championship computers during lunch – is that, in your opinion, a friendly attitude? Or maybe we had some kind of scoundrel and rogue who couldn't be tolerated for our own money, and we had to persuade the owners of the club??? It seems that Heroes players are actually the calmest among all those I have seen in computer clubs.
"Making it possible to broadcast online" can be done by any eccentric person if there is internet.
In conclusion: affordable housing for most was found (who specifically did it isn’t very important) – checkmark.
The day before the tournament, WOT wasn’t installed on two computers (these were the ones we rented in the center of the "championship" hall), nor was any other playable version.
And it turns out that Captain's functions boiled down to chatting on the forum and pulling the voting "blanket" over to his side. Well, he also found several apartments. The evening before, he stopped by the club – installed game versions. That’s it. Upon arrival, I personally dealt with the stingy landlady who tried to charge one and a half times more than agreed upon. And she knew about the fact that our apartment was occupied, according to Sam, the day before – but we only found out about this when we arrived at the house where we wanted to stay.
What was Captain doing at that moment? He suggested that we go spend the night in a hotel. 4 months of preparation – bravo!
According to my calculations, Captain spent the most time “preparing” for the event trying to assert himself on the forum. If you are interested, read those topics now, when the euphoria from last year's event has faded away, and you can reasonably and objectively assess the organizer's work.

Once again, I repeat – I have the warmest memories of communicating with people after leaving Kyiv. And the city itself is wonderful. And everything went well.
But there is no personal merit of Captain in this...
Come down to earth already – because your crown is only imaginary, existing only in your own mind. And if you take a closer look, it’s still questionable what that very crown is made of...
And you yourself seem to be under some kind of influence if you think that some image on some portal is significant...
