With such patience, the path to success in WoW is open to you. No joke.
How can you turn your nose up at something like that?
Come on, think about it. You can't block animals, so even a simple fight like a fight with people in Gothic turns into an even simpler fight with animals, where you just stand against a wall and swing back and forth, or run around. The most tactics there is, is to climb on a ledge and shoot arrows from there.
It's cool to run in different directions, trying to avoid being surrounded, while not running too far away so as not to run into a neighboring pack, knowing when to strike and when to jump back so as not to get hit yourself.
Not at all. Gothic consists of them eighty percent of the time, as do many open-world games. Exploration, grinding, and killing increasingly stronger monsters, a rudimentary dialogue part, a role-playing system built exclusively on combat skills (sneaking and lockpicking don't count, they also exist in MMOs). Twenty percent is the presence of some kind of plot (which even in MMOs still happens, lol, when a series of related quests with a pseudo-history is dumped on you during the game, or you are allowed to "conquer" certain territories from mobs) and more complex quests than in an MMORPG. That's it.
By the way, an open world is open precisely because you don't have to kill anyone or explore at all. But then you'll be a noob with a low level, and the end of the game will be hardcore.
