Volke, why don't you try World of Warcraft? Read the quests, explore the world. Leveling up is fast there, and the quests are well-written. With Cataclysm, they removed (or at least reduced) most of the quests in the style of "Kill 30 wolves." Maybe you'll like it? And it's not expensive; you can play by saving money from your lunches.
I didn't play Cataclysm; I don't even know what that game is.
