I still remember the only time I caught a serious virus with Avast – when I disabled it while accessing a website that it wouldn't let me enter due to a viral threat. The lesson was simple, and I remembered it well.
However, Dr.Web scans do find viruses, but it's just a minor thing. And not many of them.
