Javdet (blue Conflux, Monere) def numOne (red Tower, Aine, Lorelei) 8mm6a 132
It turned out to be a very tough game; I think the spectators were cringing at my sloppy play.
I ended up without restorations, but the start was good — an external dwelling of birds, albeit with serious guards, and plenty of heroes. However, lack of skill and little experience with Conflux took their toll, and the timer ate up time fairly quickly. On 116 I messed up by attacking pea shooters for a bag of gold — I can't tell them apart well, and the bag turned out to be the biggest one, and the pea shooters were numerous — about 40. And the fairies, along with some of the air elementals and water elementals that I had been so carefully preserving, went poof... But Monere leveled up to 7th, scouted several passages, and took the central village.
Then on the 2nd, the action began..
I attacked 88 storm elementals with 3 birds, 7 psychos, water elementals, and 1-stacks of fairies. And for some reason I didn't go into town to learn Curse for Mass Fire. I barely escaped, with one of the birds having only 5 health left. The box didn't disappoint — 15,000 exp. And right after that, another easier one for 10k. Then, being a fool, I took the external dwelling of birds and, now with 4 birds, psychos, and magma elementals, attacked a Ciele with zero stats against 42 gre medusas.. I barely escaped again, losing only 4 magma elementals and some fairies. Right then, Fiona captures the enemy's stronghold and leaves 20 zombies and single-stacks of skeletons, building a castle there. As it turned out, with the AI — even though we played without experience — I kicked myself for not buying 7 Evil Eyes along the way. After that, it got a bit easier, but the less difficult fights were still rushed.
And then on 131, Red's army appears near the Dragon Utopia; Monere apparently had been hitting it, but through splitting, and he had 4 birds on hand. I had to use Taz, level 3, with just a shield +5 on the last tile, to block the Dragon Utopia. It turned out to be a 3-stack, and I had nothing to bribe with. At first I thought it'd just be a trade if he attacked, but up to 250 gremlins and over 20 magi with Mass Slow scared me — I risked cracking it. A lot was lost, including 7 psychos and 2 birds, but I got the Helm (and 2 other caps, not really needed). And during the opponent's entire turn, I was expecting that my dad, carelessly split into the village and unable to get out in time due to the timer, would be beaten.. I got lucky.
Well, on my turn I caught up with Lord.
Thanks for the game.
PS By the way, Andrey, here's a clear example of the benefits of classes: large map, distant roads, and none of the heroes get Logistics. And with the scouting available on 2 heroes, the chances of catching something on speed are much higher.
