It's funny to see how SoD is repeating the path of WoG :). And how they were rejecting everything... they don't want quick buttons, they don't want anything, just leave them alone, SoD is perfect :)

No one said that settings are not needed. Many were unhappy with the primitive, limited gameplay of WoG - with the dull, uniform set of starting units, the ban on Necromancers, etc. But these are still different things. It's just that no one is working on WoG anymore.

I can guess what the next innovations will be - a chess timer, a ban on sea artifacts/spells, building the 2nd level from the start, anti-cheat, interface optimization so you don't have to mess with files, a General chat (he-he), a rating, version synchronization, Dirty's cries "leave SoD alone!!!". Of course, all of this will be strictly optional (even though everyone will use the same version). With a little lubricant, ehh...

The timer was already in TE, banning sea artifacts and any other artifacts is easily done by editing the artraits.txt file, and there is no demand for the rest of the nonsense.
Wicc, your lamentations about how WoG is the best are starting to take on a paranoid character. There is no need to bring them up in this thread. But you will always be thanked for being constructive. For your information, the HD mod supports all versions of Heroes and the WoG add-on - including. It's just that SoD gets the most benefits from the mod.
