Loki, don't you think this is a planted clue related to Gil's murder, belonging to Tory (since the article mentions Gil)? For a serial killer, there might be a clue in the newspaper text.
I'm looking for a clue related to the serial killer. I don't think the GM would be so engrossed that he wouldn't leave a clue about the killer, even if it's for a character with a lot of immunities. Although, leaving a clue about himself in his own writing – that would be quite logical for the central character of the setting. But in that case, too much can be interpreted from the pseudo-literary notes in the diary as a clue.
And what about the defenders and the doctor? Wouldn't they also help, and if there's a choice between healing/protecting Arandor or Gil, they would go and heal/protect Gil?
