Of course, black dragons are the best :) But this is only true in 1v1 battles and without a hero; in all other cases, black dragons are not effective (well, maybe in most cases, although if a pro is playing...). The same goes for monsters; you get 3 of them per week, increased damage, plus if there's a druid hero in the squad, the dragon's strength and the dragons are doomed (in my opinion)). But this is just one example; you can defeat any unit if you approach it intelligently. And even "Ressurection" won't help... In my opinion, the debate about celestial dragons is pointless because they are level 5, not level 4. Yes, I know that there are no level 5 units in Heroes, but if you think about it logically, why would the developers create a level 5 unit class just for one dragon? So they tied it to level 4; if you don't like it, consider celestial dragons an improved version of black dragons, similar to the third game. But here, we are considering standard units, plus it's not on the list, and plus you can't hire them; there are many reasons not to consider them as a unit in this review. I also like angels (they're better than champions) with their resurrection ability, and phoenixes too, with their self-resurrection and area-of-effect attack. But in general, it would be better to have a poll with several answer options, as not everyone has only one favorite type of unit.
