That's not true. Kreg Hack and Tazar, both level 20 with the same parameters, expert attack and defense, deal the same damage to each other!

When Tazar hits Kreg, neither of their special abilities work... When it's the other way around, Kreg's attack +30% to base damage and Tazar's Armor -15% to total damage work... The greater the difference between Kreg's Attack and Tazar's Defense, the more effective Tazar's Armor will be. If Attack equals Defense, then the damage from the Attack special ability will not be able to offset the Armor special ability...

Here, Attack/Defense are primary skills, and Attack/Armor are secondary.
