How can you even compare it to the original game? After reading it, I thought, "it's half-baked" (in terms of quality), and after playing a few generations, it's immediately clear that there's nothing in common. First, it would be good to find individual, DISTINCT differences for all templates and "warn" players about them. Second, each template should be "tested" by a certain number of participants. Suggesting it for a tournament is fun, but not serious! Tournaments turn into mass starts, and their value decreases. Everything should be different...
