although even in this matter, if you think about it, it's debatable. In my life, I've attended a relatively small number of parties. Among them, several were my birthdays, where I interact a little with all the guests (and even then, very little; the guests talk much more among themselves). The rest were a few rather dull school "discos" and "New Year's parties." Graduation falls into the same category. There, I hardly interact with anyone; people interact with me, and even then, rarely. Also, all these "acquaintances" of mine chat with everyone, so they don't spend much time with me either.
