In the first game, after mass Dispel, the Demons simply overwhelmed with tons of summoned creatures.
In the second game, good attack and speed allowed him to defeat the Demons at the very beginning.
And in the last game, he messed up badly when he didn't upgrade Darkness and was left without Subjugation, but mass Plague and good attack still decided the outcome.
