Even though I asked everyone in the Ekaterinburg group, and it seems everyone is in, except for Merlin (due to his foreign passport and the inability to obtain one because of the military enlistment office), for now, I will only answer for myself:

1) Hurghada/Sharm el-Sheikh - not a big deal
2) In terms of cost, the trip from Ekaterinburg will be approximately the same, but Egypt is clearly better in terms of conditions + 7 days instead of 4. Everyone in the group has laptops; I can even bring 2 and a hotspot.
3) Personally, it doesn't matter to me, but for the whole group, I think it's best to schedule it around the holidays so that anyone who needs to take time off can do so for a minimum of a weekend. 1-2 weeks.
