12.03.11 Shamys (red, Flaxe, Grindan, Grindan) def ReneDekart87 (blue, Tower, Solmyr, Solmyr) 137, 2sm4d (3) The start was good, 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 in the Castle on the first day, on the 2nd day I took a Consul 2 and headed towards the opponent, through a portal, I was about 1 day away from the Castle, but the opponent was nearby and attacked. I had no mana, but the opponent had Lightning, dealing about 200 damage per turn with one bird. I lost the battle; the opponent only managed to destroy some Golems, but not completely:smile39:. I had to surrender because I had little money and could only buy back 1 Psionic and 18 Air Elementals. In the 3rd week, the opponent headed towards my Castle to attack. While he was on his way, I quickly gathered resources for a Golem Factory 4, hoping for a Chain Lightning spell or, even better, an Armageddon spell:rolleyes:, but there was a Control spell instead:smile21:. Then, the opponent attacked the Castle with an army of 34 Grey Golems, 4 birds, and some other units. Antimagic + Lightning decided the outcome, and the opponent lost and surrendered. This isn't in the rules, but based on common sense, if the opponent has a block preventing them from leaving their Castle, then a "guaranteed restart" is implied in a game with a respectful opponent, especially with 200% certainty. If you're so unsure of yourself that you think this is the only way to win (even if the opponent is trying to "re-start" themselves to a better position), then why play at all?

Well, if you, for example, give the opponent this "guaranteed restart" (even though you have a good position), and then your position becomes terrible, and you run out of restarts? Even if the opponent gives you another restart, and it's still not good? How many restarts can you take? I'm for playing by the rules, and I wouldn't ask for a restart myself, as I would be to blame for spending all my restarts hoping for a good outcome.
