Well, that's just my gloomy perception of Dostoevsky, what can I do? I don't see any color palette in him at all. Everything is in black. Does he have any? Maybe something is wrong with me:smile32:
But, Tanya, if he doesn't suit you, then arguing is pointless - it's like trying to convince a friend that your girlfriend is the most beautiful in the world. Even the most wonderful writer may not "click" with your soul, like a key that doesn't fit a lock. We are all different, and our sense of beauty is different, and the language that writers/artists/musicians should use to speak to us so that we like them is also different for everyone.
