Heroes 6 - Discussion

It's quite possible that they won't be included at all. I haven't even seen regular elves yet, and the game's events will apparently take place before the Day of Fire Tears.


Well, it's turn-based, that's obvious. As for the visual style, I'm not sure. HoMM is valued for its interesting world, and the elements of that world should match the overall quality.

Realism doesn't limit the concept artist's freedom; it just gives them a sense of reason. If a warrior is covered in more armor than they weigh, or if their weapon makes their center of gravity incompatible with maintaining balance, then that's a failure.

I can easily accept the stylish look of the Seraphim because it reminds me of advanced magical technology. There's a logical explanation for that. But how do spikes on their back allow the Tormentor to torture its victims?

I would say that's an unprofessional approach. I would expect such a design from browser games, but not from a mainstream title of one of the most famous brands in the world.

Sounds like comforting a Dungeon fan.
