I gave up on it about a year ago and had to use a cheat. But now I beat it in one go, no problem. I wiped everyone out by the end of week 5. I built up my demons in Demoness (I didn't have enough resources for Nightmares and Hellhounds). On day 5, I took the Elven city. In the beginning of week 3, I defeated the Phoenixes (there weren't many of them, and before, they had time to level up their group – that's where I would have been in trouble). By the beginning of week 4, I had the northwestern Elven city with all the shiny, useful things – mines. I waited for my second hero to bring troops. Knowing that if I spent too long developing the Elves, the enemy would definitely have more troops, I only took demons and only allowed myself to recruit a couple of Druids and a few Archers in the northwestern city. I didn't get any more reinforcements because neutral creatures blocked the road. When I approached the city, Gilraen came out to meet me. I defeated him without any particular tricks, like a triple ballista or super diplomacy. There was a weak garrison left in the city – 22 peasants and 1-3 unicorns. And that's it. I didn't touch the Druids at all.
I'm going to play the next mission now
Моя голова останется на месте, Вайер. В отличии от твоей, там, внутри, есть мозги.
