For example, I liked 30% of the game's units. Those that didn't make it into this number were doomed from the moment the concept was created. For a serious military power to have a chain-laden maniac as its main infantry (this is about Inferno) is the height of psychedelia. Necropolis also has some very strange first-level units. Given their armament of throwing spears, one in each hand, it is completely unclear how they will fight in close combat and coordinate with each other.
In short, there are many unfinished elements. And these are serious flaws. Of course, the developers' task is not to create a military simulator, but to rake in as much money as possible. Nevertheless, a serious disregard for realism negatively affects, at least, my impression of the game.
