1. Experience (50 Griffins give a good amount of experience)
2. Scouting (I launched a Rogue. Early scouting of the center can clarify a lot and help you choose the right direction. In this case, I found a Sword of Justice)
3. No significant loss of tempo (the High Score was achieved with 7 Fairies)
