Journey

Here's the situation: either someone explains what this bug is, or I'm going to swear loudly and for a long time. I start the game, choose a castle (Haven). At the beginning of the game, the castle isn't built, and there's no tavern. I buy a tavern and a hero, and I go to kill everything that shouldn't be there. After the battle, it says: "You lost!" How is that possible? I didn't even start playing.
