Hermit cannot be the Gramophone out of the 4 roles (the Gramophone was watching him on the 6th night), which leaves him with Drawing, Circus Director, and Tamer. On the night when Neyra-hatmaker was supposed to use his ND on himself, Drawing compared Mona to Ple-sen. I don't know how the second player is determined when Drawing tries to use ND with the Hatmaker, probably randomly. In any case, the comparison was very accurate, a comparison of an already known player with a suspicious unknown one. In this regard, I believe Hermit is a member of the mafia. Not guaranteed, though. Neyra, for example, may not have used ND at all, fearing the Illusionist, and then Hermit could do whatever he wanted (if the Hatmaker is inactive, the victim of the theft can use his ND without interference). But for now, I tend to think that he is a mafia member. The question is, is he the Tamer or the Director? If they are going to kill me, the most logical action is to block the General with the Tamer and attack me with the Director. I will not hide from Hermit simply because his mafia membership is very likely, and we know about it. The score allows us to take risks and identify the remaining mafia member, so I will hide from Ple-sen. With the status of "own," he is either the Gramophone or the Circus Director (the narrowest circle of possible roles among the suspicious players).
