No. Actually, because warriors don't have all sorts of things that provide protection and immunity from weapons and arrows. The only downside for mages is when they run out of spells, then problems start. But if you calculate everything carefully and don't rush into the thick of it, then everything is fine. And to protect mages, in addition to everything else, there are summoning and invisibility spells, if you didn't know that.
P.S. And actually, I meant that enemy warriors are killed much easier. Enemy mages (especially liches and illithids) are a real headache.
