I finally decided to read the much-praised "Bible." And what can I say? It's terrible. Underdeveloped characters, a rushed plot, an incomprehensible ending, and so on. Moreover, the book is written in some language from the last century. Jesus' actions are generally impossible to explain clearly, and he is described as some kind of god, although the book claims to be a realistic account of events. It reeks of some kind of teenage angst and a search for the meaning of life for 14-year-old girls. I don't understand what the author wanted to say, except perhaps about his connection to "high society." I don't understand why everyone praises it so much; I wouldn't even publish something like this. As it turns out, there's also a prequel written by the same author, as well as several spin-offs by other authors, but I anticipate that it will be the same dull reading, suitable only for reading on a Moscow-Samara train ride. But even for that, the book is not very suitable due to its size. I don't understand why so much text was written about such a poorly developed universe? In general, if you haven't read it yet, I don't recommend it. My rating on a 10-point scale is 2 points. I would also like to mention the overrated author, who has not written anything else besides this book, which speaks to his limited literary talent (although the question arises whether he has any at all). If you haven't read it yet, I advise you not to; you'll just waste your time.
