A Warrior hero from the Dungeon faction? That's absurd...

It makes sense to use your own wizards to cast Counterspell, or to cast mass spells (it will push back less in terms of ATB).
The only catch here is that, in the case of Counterspell, the wizard will spend twice as much mana as a Warlock. So, Counterspell is not a panacea. We collect artifacts against Chaos (sometimes it doesn't work out :D), and craft mini-artifacts. Everyone knows about Haven's defense: it's the first thing a wizard should do, but they might not let you...
And honestly, it's tough for a wizard against Dungeon, because Dungeon rushes very well in this matchup...:(
