Mafia 27. The problem of Bovblob residents

What's with all the confusion about the unicorn block? First, they block, then the Tamer blocks. So, it makes sense that it was your brother. Conclusion: he's the Puppeteer. But considering the Hatter's note, which I'm inclined to believe, because the Hatter didn't make a move last night – that's a fact – and the note mentions a failed night kill. After reading your comments, I've concluded that Slonysh was Charlie (I haven't watched the cartoon myself, but I'm thinking of watching it sometime). Therefore, if the note isn't lying, we need to execute Hostor. Plus, I don't like his behavior... However, I'm a bit confused about Kostyan's status. Most likely, according to probability theory, he's a Mafia member, but considering that I don't believe in all sorts of probabilities, he could very well be Mr. Death. I think everything will become clear tonight with a death block, so I agree with Arandor that if Kostyan isn't Death, the Chess Player should pay him a visit.

According to the investigation, Kostyan is either a Mafia member or Mr. Death. Given that Arandor also has the "Outsider" status and can't be a character, one of the pair Arandor/Kostyan is a Mafia member (or maybe they both are).

Um, you forgot about the unicorn. So, it's quite possible that one of them is Death, and the other is the Unicorn. What then? We execute a town member, ha-ha. But I still advise Death to visit Kostyan (if it's not him), IMHO, that would be more reasonable.

I don't think the Puppeteer turned Kostyan into a puppet. It's hard to believe that the Puppeteer would decide to recruit a newbie on the first night and then openly expose him in a note.

Kostyan isn't a newbie; he just rarely plays :D. But yes, I don't think Hostor would recruit him first. Although, on the other hand, it's random... :rolleyes:

Questions for the GM:
1) What will happen to the unicorn if it's left alone? Will it block, or will it have 50% protection from Outsider night kills, like Charlie?
2) If the Hatter steals someone's night kill, but is blocked the next night, will the night kill use the role, or will the night kill not work?

P.S.: Shouldn't the musician's rescue be displayed in the newspaper? Or am I so blind that I missed it?
