Heroes 6 - Discussion

Did you see the damage? It was almost twice as much! With light magic? Even if it was some kind of haphazard magic, it looks ridiculous! It immediately brings to mind the witches in Heroes 5, who were placed on the sixth level, as if they were on par with ents, rakshasas, and paladins.

They weren't on par. While rakshasas and paladins fiercely charged into battle, wiping out key enemy stacks, the witches quietly fired from the rear and cast some spells. My point is that rakshasas and paladins inspired much more fear in battle and were probably more effective units.
