4. Strangely enough, I'm using the Demoness. Chain attack is very good, in my opinion.

If there are fewer than forty or fifty of them in the stack, the damage from the chain attack is not impressive at all. But even a small number of Alt units can charm a medium-sized stack of neutral creatures.

Well, with Imps, everything is clear: first, upgrade them for pits against mobs.

What's the point of pits in these "against mobs"? These slow units move only a couple of times per battle and don't deal much damage. Their ability on the sword is much more useful, so there's no need to replenish their mana.
