Sacred Haven of Debauchery

I once watched a movie about a guy who was a gardener or lawnmower, and he befriended a little girl who lived in one of the houses he took care of. At first, he didn't want to interact with her, but she kept bothering him, even showing up at his house. Eventually, they started talking. In the end, the girl's parents started to think the guy was a pedophile and called the sheriff, wanting to kill him, but he ran away with the girl, and then they were found, etc. I don't remember the ending very well.
It was a decent movie, though.
