Could you please explain what "fix" means? We've figured out "The Shadow of Death" – it generates random maps. But there's a problem with the RMG.TXT template file – I extract it using an extractor, leave only one template, and put it in the DATA folder – but it doesn't work (((

Most players have a pirated version of the game, not a licensed one...
Therefore, when patching the game, installing expansions, templates, files, and other stuff, it might not work correctly due to the pirated version. The solution: when creating a random map using a specific template, you should leave the settings window open instead of the hero and castle selection window...
It sounds funny, but practice shows that keeping the settings window open before clicking the "start game" button helps in creating the map correctly...
