Favorite characters.

1. General Sturnn, under whose skillful leadership Lorn 5 was cleansed of heretics and three types of the most vile xenos. A man capable of leading a whole demonic world to the light of the Emperor with just a handful of recruits.


2. Caleb, up to his ears in BLOOD. No grimaces, no pompous speeches. Motivation: REVENGE, but this son of a cutthroat and a syphilitic whore doesn't necessarily need it to enjoy killing.


3. Oh-oh-oh! Pathetic hacker, taste my laser turrets.


4. I think many people know this iron yoba-man.


5. This noble lady, possessing a particularly interesting and tragic fate, and also representing a curious example of alien flora. The only one who sincerely loves the hapless captain (to whom they simply don't give a break) of their humble spacecraft, which was given the factory name Lexx.


6. This somewhat clumsy gentleman from the common folk, who was incredibly lucky. It is also impossible not to note his companions, who played a huge role in the knight's story.


7. The second gentleman of this kind.

8. A man for whom I couldn't find art, and perhaps that's for the better. The man's name is James Bolivar DiGriz, he is quite overpowered and extremely lucky, a jack-of-all-trades, but nevertheless, he doesn't cause rejection. Probably because he is smart, agile, and doesn't whine. And for a few other reasons. A very warm and endearing character from a book series from the last century about a steel rat.


9. This modest gentleman, named Roland Deschain. In fact, if you ignore the bird, this picture shows the main characters of an entire series of literary works. He is somewhat slow-witted, has strained relationships with optimism, but is noble, excellent with revolvers, and represents a true paladin. Not a fantasy one, of course, but a more realistic one.
You don't necessarily have to believe these few artworks; he doesn't shoot with his right hand that often.


As with Sir William Thatcher, one cannot fail to note at least one more character from this epic named Cuthbert Allgood, who is (or was?) Roland's best friend in childhood and youth, possesses (possessed?) an excellent sense of humor, and most of the artworks depicting him are quite poor, like this one, for example. This character evoked the greatest sympathy and kinship in me; I could have been that person if it weren't for the imperfection of the mortal soul, filled with eternal sarcasm, malice, and contempt. On the other hand, his method ultimately led to nothing good, so who knows?...
