To be honest, the vast majority of "lol-atheists" are just as crazy. Very often, they try to express their very important opinion about religion whenever they can, and they proudly insert that they are atheists into any conversation. If you walk down the street with an atheist past a church, they will definitely look at it, make a face, and utter a tired cliché. If a spiritual question is even slightly touched upon in a conversation with an atheist, they will definitely launch into their favorite topic and curse religion with the most offensive words from their vocabulary. If an atheist visits a website dedicated to this topic or simply stumbles upon a VKontakte group, they will consider it their duty to engage in another rehearsed exchange of pleasantries with believers, sincerely hoping that, if not proving anything, they will at least troll the "stupid peasants."
In general, it is not very pleasant to communicate with an atheist. They are just as fanatical in their atheism as any religious fanatic can be, so the phrase "atheism is also a faith" has a perfectly valid basis.
However, of course, all of the above does not mean that all agnostics are superior; an agnostic is not as maximalist, but they are in doubt and cannot make up their mind.
