The races, their style, and other aspects are irrelevant here. The point is that times have changed; there's a prevalence of various consoles, or shooters and real-time strategies if we're talking about PC games. Back then, computers were much less powerful, and turn-based games were popular. Now, it seems to me that the core gamer base has significantly decreased; new players are essentially unfamiliar with the concept of a "turn-based strategy," and the old ones have grown up and are busy with work and family matters. And so, Ubisoft is releasing a new turn-based game but isn't putting much effort into promoting it everywhere, which makes me worry that the game won't be purchased as actively as Ubisoft would like. At least, that's how it seems to me.
