Hmm, excuse me, but where did the idea of the 6th installment failing come from? So far, everything seemed fine: the races, the world, the atmosphere (I think it will remain), and suddenly I see posts about the possible failure of this game *astonished*.
My advice is to listen to fewer old-timers. They are always dissatisfied with new games.
The difference in atmosphere between the third and fifth games is huge; between the fifth and sixth, it's much smaller, but it's still noticeable and understandable. The orcs have been completely restyled, although it's justified, but this style doesn't suit the great, free orcs. The demons are more like something else, not demons; the Necropolis are like Egyptians and spiders; the Naga are a mix of cultures from distant Asia. Only the humans are somewhat stable. Where do you see the preservation of the atmosphere and good races here? There are, of course, some successful elements, but most...
I see good races here. These are all the races.
Of course, originality and uniqueness are good, but then it's already a different game. I want a normal fantasy turn-based strategy, with green orcs, noble humans, elegant vampire-necropolis, tempting demons, and so on. In general, I agree with the originality of the sixth installment, but only on the condition that they make a normal classic game in the future. With a normal style, units, and everything else mentioned above.
You are a typical conservative, that is, an old-timer.
MararV, listen to fewer people like that so you don't spoil your impression of the game.
