How are funds transferred in such cases?

I don't know myself, but I think it can be resolved. For example, the "Contact" system, I used it for small amounts.

Why transfer money before the game? Play until someone wins twice, and then it will be clear who owes what to whom. I don't think anyone will refuse to pay and get a "loser" crown for some small amount.

What about the VKL as an example? It's wiser to learn from others' mistakes. Playing in debt with someone whose integrity you doubt is not wise, even if it's for a small amount.
