**I decided to post two options for a new race that I had already shown on the Nival forum. This is only a working project.** My version of the Orc Castle. 1.1 Half-orc 1.2 Mangas Orc cannon fodder. Being the children of an orc and a human woman, they are respected neither here nor there. They choose to serve their fathers because humans prefer to hunt them. Mangas are characterized by ferocity, and with every strike dealt, their attack level doubles. 2.1 Orc Skirmisher 2.2 Orc Thrower They are the only ranged force of the orcs, due to the orcs' complete disregard for shooting troops. They occupy the penultimate place in the orc hierarchy. 3.1 Horde Infantryman 3.2 Grumbler The core of the Horde's foot troops. They possess great strength and good defense, but they fight without formation and are vulnerable to archers due to their reluctance to wear armor. 4.1 Ogre 4.2 Ogre Shaman Magnificent fighters. Shamans can cast mass Bloodlust, and that says it all. 5.1 Orc Rider 5.2 Orc Raider The Horde cavalry. Not strong enough to withstand a blow from human cavalry, but they can strike twice and move faster than iron-clad knights. 6.1 Death Wagon 6.2 Ogre Chariot Wagons are a box on wheels surrounded by spikes. It crashes into enemy ranks, dealing terrible damage, damaging everyone in its path. However, its movement and defense are very low. Chariots, carrying ogres, possess the same abilities as the wagon but can move over greater distances and are reasonably well-protected. 7.1 Orc Champion 7.2 Orc Blade Master They possess immense agility and are practically invulnerable to archers. Blade Masters strike without receiving a counter-attack and possess ferocity (see Mangas). Note: - There is a question regarding the 7th level. Trolls, Cyclopes, or Behemoths are possible. - I want to replace Wolf Riders with Hazg archers.
Dwarf Castle 1.1 Kobold Digger 1.2 Kobold Miner The weakest creatures, whose only advantage is their number. Additionally, miners can stun their opponents. They inhabit exhausted dwarf mines, gathering the remaining ore. They maintain decent relations with the mountain tribe. 2.1 Young Dwarf 2.2 Dwarf Warrior Young dwarves who have just completed training. They are not particularly respected by their kin. Dwarf warriors in large numbers can form a hearth (receiving a bonus against infantry and cavalry). 3.1 Dwarf Crossbowman 3.2 Heavy Dwarf Crossbowman Dwarves generally rarely use crossbows, relying mainly on their axes. However, heavy dwarf crossbows can easily knock a rider off their mount from 500 paces. 4.1 Dwarf Alchemist 4.2 Dwarf Mage Alchemists, like mages, can cast multiple blessings related to earth magic. Mages have the same set of spells but cast them in mass and can summon a Stone Golem once per battle. 5.1 Rukh Bird 5.2 Stormpetrel Rukhs live in rocky nests and hate dragons, which led to their alliance with the dwarves. In addition to claws, Stormpetrels unleash lightning upon their enemies. 6.1 Dwarf Warrior 6.2 Dwarf Elder The best dwarf troops. They can form a hearth and surpass everyone in close combat. Warriors are quite slow, making them vulnerable to archers. Elders are dressed in famous living dwarf plate armor, which in turn makes them practically invulnerable to any attacks except magical ones. They possess high speed and can easily defeat a Giant in close combat. 7.1 Stone Golem 7.2 Granite Golem Animated by dwarf magic, these creatures guard their masters until their last breath. Granite golems are additionally immune to magic.
All dwarves have 50% magic resistance and low speed (except elders). Revered Deities: they worship Onkologon the Black Outcast, for they are his sons, created to strengthen the earthly firmament. Capital: Stone Throne (Mother Mountain) Philosophical Foundations: fanatical devotion to the cause. "The will of the Stone Throne is law." They hate all other dragons. Furthermore, they view all other races with suspicion. Notes: I want to replace dwarf shooters with hobbits. Also, a question about replacing the Stormpetrel with the golem, and moving the golem to the 5th level.
I will be glad to hear your comments and suggestions. Work on the orcs is almost finished. I will send it to Nival soon. Then I'll post it on the site. P.S.
And if there is a desire, we can all gather as a fan site and win this contest, and direct the prizes to the tournament prize fund.
The idea is good, but we'll likely never agree. P.S.S. Work is in full swing. Additionally, there's an idea floating around for a third race - the Black Legion. This is about aliens from other worlds. I want to return to the cosmic plot of the Might and Magic world.
