Judging by the newspaper descriptions, Gil4 ate delicious pies for two days in a row, which suggests that he did not leave his room for either of those nights. In that case, he either didn't receive them, or he visited the person to whom the cook initially delivered the pies.
He either doesn't have Non-Disclosure, or he didn't use it. I lean towards this version because I doubt he received them both times by visiting the cook's target. It's more likely that the cook was trying to give him protection, as a thoughtful player would.
