The fort was just converted, that's why. And the entrance to the dungeon looks nice; I wonder what the exit looks like? As for the stone, if you look at the castles, they are huge compared to the fort, and if you build a castle, it might be able to claim this stone. Maybe it's the Holy Grail. Or maybe it's one of the four stones mentioned in the eighth dragon!
