Let’s go back to the good old days.

We agreed to play to 1 win. We sketched M+U, Roma took Conflux, I took Bron. On the first map I beat out a decent amount of gold - 1-6 without 5 in the castle stood! A Hive is revealed on the respawn and I broke through a passage into the basement - there's also a Hive nearby and a few more goodies, but the guard is strong, so I turn back.
At the start of the second week I rushed 2 Medusa Storages (6+8), a mini Imp Crucible, upgraded the Lizardmen with Waspworms and into the treasure zone. There I immediately broke a teleporter, checked with a scout hero - a road, apparently to the opponent's castle. On my turn, Moner on an angel arrives - I chased him off and captured the Hive for 8. Freed a level 10 mage, at 131 I buy Lizardmen and a couple of Flies and send him to take the Naga Bank, which turned out to have a tier 4 with upgrades! I kind of rushed in automatically - level 10 after all, but from magic only Stone Skin and Attack 0. After a long, painful battle I lose, not finishing the last Naga with 12 HP!:smile21:
Well, I thought, we're done for, but I didn't give up, because the opponent wasn't doing great either. Plus I managed to plant Hydras at 127.
I developed by the end of the fourth week, upgraded 20 Ducks, Hydras, looted Boots of Speed, Pendant of Luck, 3/3 Luck/Morale, a +5 Shield, and collected the Sniper's Bow specifically for the ballista (had the skill) :)
At 215, we both rushed to the last neutral territory, but I was able to get to the max Griffin Conservatory first, and next turn Roman attacks with 102 Storm Elementals (2 external dwellings) and the rest of the growth in small numbers. My resistance in the first two rounds helped a lot; during that time I cast Curse and deployed my troops. In the second round, Haste on 6 Greater Hydras and morale on the Angels - Roma surrenders. Hurray!!!
