Recently, I watched the bizarre musical "Genetic Opera." The actors are good, but overall, the spectacle is strange, absurd, and inexplicable. Black humor? Grotesque? Parody? OR ARE THEY SERIOUS?? It's amusing, though. I wouldn't recommend it. But I do recommend the animated film "Despicable Me." I've watched it three times myself, and I'll watch it again. The plot is, of course, cliché – a villain softens under external influences (in the form of three orphaned girls) and becomes a good guy (well, almost). But the humor! And Yarmochnik's dubbing! Overall, watch it; you won't regret it.
