And why did the design of the hellish creatures change? In my opinion, the previous ones were better suited to the name.

I didn't change anything. Check your mods folders. Or when viewing, my map should be in the Maps folder. ;)

it's just unclear how the lightning strikes them; it hit everyone, there were definitely six targets, but here it hits only one.

It's just a regular lightning bolt ("Unexpected Storm," as it's officially called) from one of the trainable upgrades – it hits in a chain (the description of the creature says it all ;) – you just need to right-click on it ;) ). If there is no other unit nearby, it won't hit it. ;)
Remember the attack of the than, the non-green upgrade of the wyvern, etc...
