Which class do you like best in Might and Magic VIII?

I fundamentally dislike the Knight due to their ideology, and in the arena, while trying to open a spellbook from some mage, I kept encountering this unit. And I couldn't get rid of it. When I played the game for the first time, I had a bug where clicking on the Knight's inventory would cause the game to crash. But without the Knight, it's impossible; how many times has he saved me when everyone else died, and he was the only one left, effectively escaping with half his health? By the way, this happened on the same Arena.
