That's correct, and that's how it will be. Now, nearby mines cannot be captured simply by having a low-level hero run past them, but you can position that hero in the mine and thus steal resources while the hero is stationed at the mine. Or until the owner kills him. In my opinion, this is fairer, because before, you could take the mines, and then some loser would quickly recapture them and run away.

Is this the one that was shamelessly copied from Disciples with minor changes?

It's better to borrow the best elements from other games than to come up with something original that is nonsensical.
