"Newcomer-2011. Winter"

I’d like to revisit the panic before the tournament regarding the incredibly strong players. The leaders were TERI – 20 and Neverminder – 19, and the outcome in the playoffs was that TERI is still fighting for a spot, having come in 3rd, while Neverminder didn’t make it (I don’t know what happened, but…). Scorpiona – 10 and R55Max – 11 were in the middle of the rankings. Scorpiona confidently came in 1st (I’m sure the key to success was persistent preparation for the tournament), and R55Max came in 2nd (while some dark horses with 0 votes took 1st and 2nd place). What I’m trying to say is that you can beat any player. I hope the next newcomer won’t face similar problems and will trust the organizer’s experience.
