Heroes 6 - Discussion

In Heroes 5 (referring to the English localization), there was Nikolai (Nicholas in the Russian localization) and Irina (Iris in the Russian version). Nikolai's father was named Alexei (Alex in the Russian localization). His grandfather was, as far as I remember, Oleg (became Helge). The first emperor of the Griffin dynasty was named Ivan.

Wow, it really is quite an extensive allusion. It seems to me that Americans are simply not used to hearing Russian names because they automatically perceive them as belonging to 'inhabitants of the land of elves.' But so what? We all wonderfully remember how the Russian people viewed such elaborate words as SNIKERS, JEANS, ADIDAS during the perestroika years – they were brands.

Good screenshot. Beautiful and intricate drawing – that's definitely a plus. In the fifth game, I also liked the semi-ruined water temple on the lake; it looked organic.
