Is it worth changing the Punishment System on the forums to one that results in a permanent ban?

4. I don't understand what the maximum number of points is, etc., so here's how it works: After earning N points, there's a three-month ban (T). It might seem long, but if you managed to get the maximum points, you should be willing to wait. A month is too short; there are often breaks of two months or more due to real-life issues. After each subsequent unban, the maximum number of points becomes 0.5N, and the ban time is 2T.
