I don't think that all magic schools will be strictly tied to a specific race. What difference does it make to the Necropolis whether it's water or earth magic? I think the restrictions will mostly be related to the schools of light and darkness.

For now, they say that each faction has its favorite magic, corresponding to the dragon they worship. I think that each race will have "unique features" specific to it; for example, the Necropolis will be able to upgrade important skills in primal magic that are not available to others. Otherwise, there would be no point in dividing magic if it is equally accessible to everyone.
