The Lord of the Rings

Does it even need to be said that Tolkien was a genius? To create such a world... to create five artificial languages, two of which are in no way inferior to any real language. Tolkien created the fantasy world in the form we know it today. My favorite book is "The Hobbit"; "The Silmarillion" is too... well, let's just say, overloaded; all the names don't fit in my head. "The Lord of the Rings" is a magnificent work.
