Which class do you like best in Might and Magic VIII?

I didn't use Dark Elves at all in either playthrough. I hired them for a short period and then dismissed them. The first time, my team consisted of: a cleric, a knight, a vampire, a necromancer, and a dragon. The second time: a vampire, a necromancer, a minotaur, a cleric, and a dragon. The third time: I don't remember.
