If we have 0 and 1, and these are two diametrically opposed states, then to logically represent them, we switch to the language of predicate logic. That is, 1 is truth, 0 is falsehood, and a predicate (function) that takes different values depending on the argument. And the binary numeral system is simply a system built on the positional principle of writing numbers with a base of 2 and has nothing to do with the language of logic.
