Alt-upgrades undoubtedly diversified the tactics, and I liked the idea, but the tragedy is that they were removed, or at least I don't see them. Worse still, there are only five Factions in the game, but more should be added in the add-ons, and perhaps they will implement alt-upgrades as well.
And what exactly do you dislike about the Papuan orcs? In Ashan, they are island dwellers, so it's no surprise that some feathers were added to their "look." Aztec shamans, in my opinion, look quite harmonious.
